🎵 Request a song
Tap any song on the Song List tab to request it. It shows ✔ Requested and floats to the top of your list.
↩️ Remove a request
Changed your mind? Tap a song you've already requested to remove it. Your request slot is freed up immediately.
♥ Upvote a request
On the Live Requests tab, tap the heart next to any song to support it. More votes = higher in the list. Upvotes don't use your request slots.
📋 Live Requests tab
See all requests sorted by votes. Unplayed at top, played songs below. After a show ends, check out what the crowd requested.
📅 Shows tab
View upcoming gig dates, venues and times. Requests open 1 hour before each show starts.
🔢 Request limits
The band may limit how many songs you can request. Slots free up automatically when your songs are played — you'll get a notification! You can also free up a slot by removing a request.
💡 Tips
⚙️ First-time setup
☰ → Settings. Set band name, tagline, logo, banner image, social links and tip buttons. These rarely need changing after initial setup.
📅 Adding shows
☰ → Add / Edit Shows. Add manually or import a .ics file from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. Requests open automatically 1 hour before start time.
🎵 Adding songs
Settings → Songs. Add manually or import CSV/Excel. Smart import skips duplicates. Songs persist between shows.
🔢 Request limits
Settings → Max requests per user. Set to 0 for unlimited. Users get notified when their songs are played and slots free up.
💳 Tip buttons
Settings → Tip Buttons. Up to 3 configurable buttons with custom labels, amounts and Stripe links. Toggle individually or hide the whole bar.
🎤 Before the show
Share the URL with the audience. Best choice: create a poster with a custom QR code linking to the site. Requests open automatically 1 hour before start time — no manual action needed.
📱 Band View
☰ → Live Requests (Band View). Full-screen requests sorted by votes. Tick a song when played — it shows a tick then moves to the played section after a short delay.
⏹ End show early
In Band View tap "End Show Now". Sets end time to now and closes requests across all devices immediately.
🔔 Notifications
Enable in Settings. Keep the app open and screen on for best results. Add the site to your Home Screen on iPhone for notifications to function.
🔐 Session
Sessions last 24 hours with keep-alive every 20 min. Set Auto-Lock to Never before a gig. If expired during Band View, a red banner appears — tap to log back in.
📊 Request History
☰ → Request History. Three tabs: All Time (top 50 most requested songs ever), By Show (past shows with full request breakdowns and delete option), and Insights (aggregate stats, upvote vs request ratio, sort mode usage and per-show breakdowns).
🔀 Song sorting
Users sort A–Z, Most Requested (all-time), or New Additions. Hide sort buttons in Settings. User's requested songs always float to top.
📥 iCal import
Add / Edit Shows → Upload .ics. Options: use title as venue, strip prefix (e.g. "Gig "), include address, skip past dates. Preview before import. Duplicates skipped automatically.
📈 Popular Requests
Settings → Songs. Reset Display clears the view without affecting data. Delete All removes all vote history — useful before first real gig.
